Management
Meet our owners and Management Team
Julie Stokes
Our Company President and principal owner is Julie Stokes. Julie has been in the trucking business since 1979. She was instrumental in guiding our company into the markets we now serve. Beyond Stokes Trucking, she is active in her church, and is involved in the community and at local schools. She has donated much of her time and money to help bring a better education to the people of northern Zambia. Julie believes strongly in safety, protecting the environment, and in rewarding everyone who helps make our business a success, and has been influential in shaping our driver incentive pay program.
Val Stokes
Val is Vice President and assists with day-to-day operations.

Mark Lawver
Mark is the newest member of our Operations team. His background in trucking operations and dispatch will be invaluable to our success.
Jana Mastronardi
Jana is our Office Manager. Jana takes care of finance, billing, payroll, insurance, etc. She oversees our weekly payroll, and employee benefits, as well as running the accounts receivable and payables. Jana has been with Stokes Trucking since 2001.
Tyler Howell
Tyler runs our Safety Department. He manages the incoming driver paperwork, and ensures we have legal driver logs. He monitors equipment preventative maintenance, maintains accident records, etc.
Driver Committee
As part of our commitment to reward safety and driver performance, we have a committee of three drivers who have a say in the operation and interpretation of the policies that make up our performance, or safety incentive pay. In fact the complete committee that oversees the incentive program is made up of two people working in our office, and three drivers. Thus, should a driver ever challenge any decision made within the incentive pay plan, he will be heard by a committee of five people. Three of which are his driving peers. We hope this is just one more way that we can demonstrate the value we place on, and the respect we have, for our drivers. It’s just one more way we here at Stokes Trucking, are “Driving Toward The Future”.
